The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Elly Bay, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
S. Foley, rider of Innumerable, trained by Stephen Thorne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped a bit forward.
350C Irishinjuredjockeys.com Claiming RaceThe Raceday Stewards interviewed J.M. Sheridan, rider of Benavente (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Georg Zhukov, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen throughout.
R.M Mulligan, rider of Brosna Green, trained by Patrick J. McKenna, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away.
350E View Restaurant Median Auction M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Stellar View trained by Henry de Bromhead was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Kc Bear, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Jp's Express, ridden by W. Joyce, where it appeared Jp's Express clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. Joyce stated that the pace slowed up in front of him and his mount ran up on heels. He added that he did not suffer interference from either side. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount was very difficult and he was trying to take him back but was aware of W. Joyce on his inner. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
350F Celebrate Your Special Occasion H'capR.M Mulligan, rider of Notforalongtime (GB), trained by Laura Hourigan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled leaving the stalls.
350G Now Racing Every Wednesday Dundalk H'capThe Raceday Stewards interviewed S.P. Davis, rider of Porsche Lad, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S.P. Davis was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and R.10.3(i)(time to respond). W. Joyce, rider of Moondharrig, trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount finished lame. This was subsequently confirmed by the IHRB Veterinary Officer.
J. Kearney, rider of Burford Beauty, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.
